Westonka Whirlers square dances on the west side of the metro area on the west end of Lake Minnetonka in Mound, Minnesota, at Grandview Middle School. The drive through Lake Minnetonka is breathtaking!
Once you're here, if you're new, we'll get you dancing ASAP! We'd love to have you come visit us at a dance (free to visitors) or come to a beginner's dance with us: ABC Square Dancing! Learn the abc's of square dancing while you merely WALK TO MUSIC!

Beginner Square Dancing
Solos, couples, and families: add a fun, social activity to your life by trying square dancing. Low-impact, aerobic exercise while you walk to music—a respite from the world today. Come try square dancing Monday evenings at The Gillespie Center, 2079 Commerce Blvd., Mound, 7 p.m. Come once, come every time or come when you can. No previous experience required. Partners provided.
Ages 8-98. No charge. Casual attire.
Learn a few calls while you walk to music, laugh a lot, and make new friends. Wear comfortable , smooth-soled shoes and casual attire. If you have questions--go to the "contact us" page; otherwise, just show up. We're eager to meet you!
